Understanding and using emotional intelligence to facilitate positive change and drive results is the driving force behind my story, and I believe the ability to influence and communicate to inspire others is the key to success. I learned early in life from my mother’s adversity that everyone has a story. From that, a passion to understand people was born while my father, an entrepreneur, instilled the love of business in me.

After receiving my M.S. Ed. in Psychological Services from University of Pennsylvania, I was a system’s therapist/advocate for families and children. I realized how helping families become more emotionally intelligent could be applied to business. At 26, I shifted into the corporate Employee Assistance field, then parlayed all these experiences into owning my own executive coaching consulting business to Fortune 500 companies helping companies grow sales and revenue, develop people and create transformative cultures.   To help businesses understand and use the power of story as a cutting-edge communication tool, I authored “The Art of The Nudge”

Through both my professional and personal experiences, I learned that most people were not taught the emotional skills as I was, and simply needed tools to learn HOW to develop their EQ that sets them apart.  In late 2018, I decided it was time to parlay all of my experiences together and formed EQuipt.
